JOB SUMMARY.
The Account Officer is responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring successful onboarding of vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting to the Business Development Officer, this role plays a crucial part in the company’s growth by supporting vendor acquisition, resolving customer issues, and ensuring smooth operations.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Management:

•Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, responding promptly to inquiries and issues.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

•Handle customer complaints or issues and escalate to the Business Development Officer when necessary.

Vendor Onboarding:

•Manage the end-to-end process of onboarding vendors onto the FAAST Gas platform, ensuring they complete all necessary registration steps.

•Conduct field visits to vendors, providing assistance with app setup and any technical difficulties they might encounter.

•Work closely with the Business Development Officer to ensure timely onboarding and activation of vendors on the platform.

Administrative and Financial Duties:

•Maintain accurate records of customer and vendor accounts, including billing, payments, and credits.

•Follow up on overdue payments to ensure collection and resolve any payment discrepancies.

•Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to account balances, payments, and collections.

Field Operations:

•Visit clients and vendors in the field to assist with onboarding and troubleshoot any issues related to their accounts or app usage.

•Support the Business Development Officer in managing vendor relations and ensuring vendor satisfaction during the onboarding process.

Performance Tracking:

•Meet targets for customer satisfaction, timely payment collection, and vendor onboarding.

•Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly performance goals that contribute to the company’s bonus structure.

Collaboration:

•Collaborate with the Business Development Officer and other departments (e.g., Admin/Accountant) to ensure seamless execution of customer and vendor management tasks.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

•Number of vendors successfully onboarded onto the platform.

•Customer satisfaction scores and feedback.

•Percentage of overdue accounts resolved.

•Achievement of monthly/quarterly performance targets for customer and vendor management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Requirements:

•National Diploma (ND), Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.

Experience:

•1+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or vendor relations is a plus, but fresh graduates with a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Skills:

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

•Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

•Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.

•Fieldwork readiness for vendor onboarding and customer visits.
