JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and promoting our comprehensive procurement and payment facilitation services.

JOB DESCRIPTION
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients
· Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in global procurement
· Create and deliver compelling presentations on MPS services to prospective clients
· Collaborate with the procurement team to understand client needs and tailor solutions
· Negotiate contracts and close deals with new clients
· Develop strategies to increase market share and improve the company's competitive position
· Monitor and report on sales activities, opportunities, and market trends
· Represent MPS at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
· Work closely with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field
· 3+ years of experience in business development, preferably in procurement or international trade
· Strong understanding of global procurement processes and payment solutions
· Must have a Client base of Corporate organizations
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
· Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
· Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events
