Job Description

1. Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes as assigned.
2. Follow delivery schedules and routes as set by the logistics team.
3. Ensure that all goods are handled carefully, inspected for quality and quantity before delivery, and properly documented.
4. Collect payments and signatures from customers when necessary.
5. Provide excellent customer service by being polite, professional, and prompt.
6. Maintain a clean, well-organized, and roadworthy delivery vehicle at all times.
7. Report any issues, delays, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
8. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

1. On-time Delivery Rate: Percentage of deliveries completed within the scheduled time frame. Target: 95% or higher.

2. Customer Satisfaction Score: Rating based on customer feedback regarding the service, condition of goods, and driver’s attitude. Target: 4.5 out of 5 or higher.

3. Delivery Accuracy: Number of deliveries completed without errors or complaints about missing, damaged, or incorrect items. Target: 98% or higher.

4. Vehicle Maintenance & Condition: Adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules and keeping the vehicle in good condition. Target: No more than 1 reported issue per quarter.

5. Adherence to Safety Standards: Compliance with traffic rules, speed limits, and internal safety regulations. Target: Zero traffic violations or accidents.

6. Cash/Payment Handling Accuracy: Percentage of accurate cash collection, invoicing, and timely submission. Target: 100% accuracy.

7. Route Optimization & Fuel Efficiency: Effective planning and execution of delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and time. Target: 10% improvement in fuel efficiency every quarter.
