JOB SUMMARY 

The Digital Marketer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing online marketing efforts to promote Waterbrook Schools' educational services and programs. As the digital landscape in Nigeria continues to evolve, this role plays a crucial part in reaching prospective students and parents through various digital channels. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, marketing, and technology, with a deep understanding of the Nigerian digital ecosystem.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Digital Strategy and Implementation:

  • Develop strategies to build lasting digital connections with prospective students, parents, and the wider community.

  • Manage and grow Waterbrook Schools' presence on popular social media platforms in Nigeria (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp).

  • Create and manage online advertising campaigns through platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads to increase awareness of Waterbrook Schools.

  • Implement SEO strategies tailored to the Nigerian market to improve our website's visibility.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Design and distribute engaging newsletters and promotional emails to our database of prospects and current students' families.

  • Generate creative ideas for content marketing that resonate with the Nigerian audience and regularly update our website.

  • Work with our design team to enhance user experience on our digital platforms.

Analytics and Optimization:

  • Use Web analytics tools to measure the performance of our digital marketing efforts.

  • Stay informed about online marketing trends in the Nigerian education sector and adapt our strategies accordingly.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain relationships with local media agencies and vendors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Growth in social media engagement and followers.

  • Increase in website traffic and lead generation.

  • Improvement in search engine rankings for targeted keywords

  • Conversion rates from digital marketing campaigns.

  • Return on investment (ROI) for online advertising spend.

Educational Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices in the Nigerian context.
